Out of His Element

On Thursday morning, while it was still very dark, I left my apartment for work. As I was turning around from locking the door, I spotted movement out of the corner of my eye in the parking lot. When I looked that way, what at first appeared to be the face of a cat turned out to be a little too triangular. As it moved more clearly into view and I saw its straight pointy tail with a white tip, I noticed it was a little brown fox! Apparently, a bit of a city fox. Unfortunately, because the moment passed so quickly, I was unable to get a photo. Hopefully next time I'll be more prepared.
