Johnnie Fox's Pub

Last night I went to the Johnnie Fox's Pub Hooley Night. So much fun!

We got there at 6:30 and wandered around Ireland's highest pub (it's in the Dublin mountains), looking at the walls, crammed with old signs, news articles, taxidermy, guns, crockery, chamber pots (?!) and more. It was an amusing start to an entertaining evening.

At 7:15, we went into the Hooley room and sat at our table right beside the stage!

Several of us had mussels to start our four-course dinners, which I followed with the Mahi Mahi Diablo. Afterward, we had bannoffee and whiskey chocolate cake. All this was accompanied by an Irish band and Hooley dancers. It was a great time.
